Welcome to Stanley, this sign is on display at the Tourist information office.

Tourists!!!
the Islands are a mecca for wildlife lovers. During the tourist season the islands population is regularly outnumbered by the visitors.

Rememberance woods. This area was planted after the 1982 conflict with Argentina. It commerates the British and Falklanders who lost thier lives during the war.
