Really missing how light and versatile my HS20 is, regardless it was a lovely day earlier so I took my DSLR out for a bit, here are 2 of the shots I took:
First is just a portrait of a monkey: http://www.myfinepix.ie/gallery/651939/420120
Second is testing my Ranox 250: http://www.myfinepix.ie/gallery/651939/420015

I have just purchased an HS 20 EXR and love it but when shaken it rattles as if something adrift inside not that I am in the habit of shaking cameras but the zoom was a little stiff. With use this became smoother but that's when the ratting started . So I shook it and it sounds like something loose inside. Am I just being paranoid I really don't want tosend it back anyone else experienced this

Good afternoon/morning Ray,
I will get you some more caterpillar shots when I next have some free time, but to keep you going, here is a photo of a rather cool Tortoise beetle before he hid in his shell: http://www.myfinepix.ie/gallery/651939/420757

Hi everyone,
I wonder if any kind person on here would happen to know where I may buy a Super 8 Standard 8 cine projector with sound facility. I did once use the two well known Internet shopping sites but was very disappointed with NOT receiving my goods on one of them which cost me some £400.
If any of you finepix friends know of where I could locate the above request I would be so pleased. Please forgive me if I have put this on the wrong forum.
Many thanks, John

I have noticed very distinct white outlines on some shots, mainly on vertical poles etc.(see station shot in my gallery). Wondering if anyone has the same problem. A pity because the sharpness at the long end was great especially on an overcast day.Love the camera but also having a few exposure problems. Read the firmware update for the X 10 and it seems to have the same problem. Hopefully there will be a firmware update for the X-S1 as well.

Having looked through a good number of this month's comp entries, I've noticed quite a few that might benefit from a little CC..... over exposure, under expsure, focus not quite sharp etc, and there's also a few where I (and it might be just me!) can't see any "perspective" there at all! All these images seem to have had great praise too!
I've refrained from saying anything, because when I have done in the past, people have had a go at me!! Are people frightened of giving CC these days? Or are we not supposed to give CC on comp antries any more?
I don't presume to be the world's best photographer or anything, but from listening to judges at my local camera club, (and having my own images pulled to pieces at times!), I've learned a lot about what makes a good image, and I'd like to pass this on!!

Hi,
I am getting blurry images after my camera fell from a height of 6 Feet. The camera is almost 7 years old, it never gave me any troubles for thousands of photographs I have taken.
I am uploading a few pictures taken after the camera has fallen, please let me know is it worth getting repaired or go for a new one.
TIA
Manjunath

Can anyone help me with my new finepix camera.
Have taken a few pictures now and the firstcouple of times I managed to import the pictures to Finepix studio no trouble.
Yesterday it kept saying there was no device connected and then I got a prompt from the computer and lo and behold they were imported to My Pictures on the computer via adobe photoshop. I can see them under my pictures but i wanted them kept altogether on finepix studio and i can't see them there. What did i do wrong?
Can anyone help? thanks.

Hello myfinepix community,
I have been experimenting a lot with black and white, and thought it would be a lovely idea if the community had somewhere to share all their black and white photos, therefore this gallery will be posted every Sunday/Monday.
To show us all your wonderful black and white photos, just upload the black and white photo to your personal gallery, then just comment on this thread and insert the photo you wish to show us, then just select the photo and click insert link, and just paste the URL to the photos in your gallery (alternatively you could just paste the link below/above your photo)
I really looking forward to seeing other peoples black and white photos and if anyone wants to include links to black and white conversion articles or other members black and white photos that you have seen etc, feel free to include them with your gallery entry.
p.s. Please only post 1 photo per week and also, comment on submitted photos in their owners gallery's, and not on this post.
Regards
Dean

Hey guys, this is a 2 part question. How do I stop my pictures being blurry when taking photos using the zoom? How do I turn the digital zoom on?
Im using a fujifilm finepix S2950, I have been trying to take a picture of my local beach front and need to use the zoom for what I think will make a great photo but every time I take it the image comes out blurry. Is there some sort of settings I can use to prevent this? I have tried using a stable tripod and tried by hand but I always get the same outcome.
Also in repsect of the digital zoom I can only seem to use the 18x optical zoom.
Please help
Matt
